DIY Grandpa's #1 Fans Directional Sign

Imagine grandpa getting up on Father's Day with this directional sign in his backyard. Max, Sarah, Will and Lisa are proud of their gift they made for their grand father. After all, they are his #1 fans and they want to make sure grandpa is reminded often of how much they love him!

They chose the blue, green and grey colors because everyone knows that he's a big Seahawks fan. Of course, you could make it in any color of your choice.

Here's what you'll need to make this easy project:
• 1 Wooden Center Pole 48" x 2" (on sale! $3.97, reg. $4.99 - now thru Jun. 18, 2017)
• 5 Directional Wood Boards (10", 12" or 15")
• Self-Adhesive Vinyl "Grandpa's #1 Fans"
• Custom-Cut Self-Adhesive Vinyl of the kids' names (visit our Photo Imaging Center)
• 1 Ceramic Football Decoration
• Acrylic Paint and Paint Brush
• 1 Unfinished Box Frame
• Drill and Screws to attach pieces together
• E6000 Glue

Let's get started:
• Use Americana Acrylic Paint to paint the box frame and center post grey. Let dry. In the meantime, paint the directional boards in blue and green, alternating the colors. Let dry.

• Apply the "Grandpa's #1 Fans" self-adhesive vinyl to the box frame. If you're not sure how to apply the vinyl, check out this video with Sonja - CLICK HERE. Use the same technique for the kids names. You'll peel and stick each name to the boards.

• Use your drill and screws to attach all the wood pieces together. You'll want to use a strong glue like E2000 to attach the ceramic football to the board. Let dry flat before moving. You want to make sure the glue is completely dry.
